Tall Dark and Chocolate

I have always loved seeing other people blogs and couldn't wait until I did one.  Well that has been almost a year ago and even though I have been crafting I haven't been posting.  I have hard enough time trying to get projects done let alone post about it.  I don't know how those women that post everyday of several times a week do it. I work a full time job along with being married and have children.  I guess there are really are Super Women out there.  So anyway this isn't my first project of the year but my first post.  I plan to do more and hopefully get more followers.  But who is going to follow someone who doesn't post right.

Here is a card I made for my husband.  We are both on the weight loss journey.  I have lost 70 pounds with WW several years ago.  I put on about 30 and the 70 wasn't at my goal.  Now we are starting again.  My husband is a country man and eating smaller portions isn't easy but we are going to do it.  The card I made was to help encourage him.  I'm going to try my best to make a card for him each week to start the week off good.  In that case I will be posting more. - I hope

I even have a semi receipe for my card.

Card - SVGCUTS- Card #11cut to fit 12x12 paper
GQ Man- Robert Jackson's digital stamps he is about 5inches tall
I had a hard time sizing him so that is why the card is large.  Also my  husband has a thing about small cards. He always like the cards to be big.
Hello My Name is -Cutting Cafe Jot it down # 5
Paper - Best Occasions- Walmart I think
Tim Holtz -paper tape
Die cut - Cricut Art Philosophy
Martha Stewart Glitter glue- Red
Friskars Classic Alphabet stamps
Viva Pearl Pen - Red

I used copic markers and color pencils.  I don't have a lot of copics and I don't really know how to use them yet.  I tried my best to blend.  All black suite  - hard
I punch a flower from a Mc Gill punch and put a drop of red glitter glule inside.  I also used Viva Pearl to add a little shine to the tie and hat- red. Even though it is a man's card I used glitter again.  For the "I" initial on the cut out.  He hasn't seen it yet but the kids like it.
