Peachy Keen LFIF Mother's Day Challenge

This is my 2nd Peachy Keen Challenge.  The Challenge is for Mother's Day and to use a Peachy Keen face stamp.  This is actually a Mother's Day gift for one of my Mom's friend.  The picture was taken at my very first Mother and Daughter Tea. I took this picture of my mom and one of her best friends.  Since my mother's passing in early 2010 I no longer have her to make Mother's Days gifts for anymore. This picture was used in funeral program and I told her friend that I would give her a copy of it.  Beinging the crafter that I am I couldn't just giver her a plain old picture.  So this challenge was just what I needed .  Working on this frame probably was the most I looked at her picture since her passing.

I used an acrylic frame for the first time.  The butterfly is from Storybook and I cut the frame from a stock image from the cricut Imagine. I used bling - which was kind of a pain to use.  But I love how it looks. I forgot where the lacy frame came from a Cricut cart though.  The butterfly was cut out of DCWV glitter stack and I layered it and poped it up.  I used Tatter Angels spray for the frame I felt like it needed a little kick of something.  You probably can't see it but it has a gold sheen to it.

I did vinyl for the flower.  It came from the    Tinker Bell cartridge.  I used Provebs. 31 - The Virtrious Women Scripture.  And of course two pink flowers with Peachy Keen face stamps.

Peachy Keen Tuesday Sketch Challenge

This is my very first challenge I have ever entered.  This is for the Tuesday sketch challenge by Peachy Keen.
The card is 4 3/4 X 8 1/5. The bride and groom along with the pillow and rings are from the Wedding cart.  The flower behind the bride and groom is from Home Accents.  I used Martha Stewart glitter and cut out in chipboard.  The bride and groom was cut from glitter paper that purchase loose from AC Moore.  I used stickles for the diamond.  Thanks for looking.

Math Month Prize Donations

April is Math Month at my kids school.  They asked for donations of prizes for the kids and teachers.  I went to the dollar store grabbed water bottles and two journals.  I finally got to use my  Create a Critter cartridge.  I used it for the money bottle and the panda pride bottle.  Tinker Bell cart and Cindy Loo.

I used Forever Young  and the flourishes are from myvinyldesigner.com.  The heart is from a cricut cart.  Sorry I don't remember the name.

Old Peachy Keen challenges

These are two Peachy Keen challenges cards that I made.  I went through their archive to find some ideas a couple of weeks ago.  I haven't posted to a challenge yet but am really enjoying do them.  I have brought my card creating level up notches.  Even my 18 year old has noticed a change in my cards.  This is a birthday card. I used standard 5x7 pre-scored card. Cuttlebug embossing folders. Stickles for the flower and bling for the middle.  Stamped sentiment  and stamped flower that I cut out and chalked. Friskars punch,  this was the first time I did a boarder with punches.  I've had this punch for years but barely used it.  Until I saw the challenges from Peachy Keen and viol la.

This was a monochromatic twist challenge from Peachy Keen.  What I love best about this card is that I used scraps.  Since I have tons of it I'm always trying to use them instead of using a fresh sheet of paper if possible.  I made this a Mother's Day card.  My monochromatic color...  Pink of course.  My favorite color.  I used Joann's glitter for the flowers. The paper is Anna Griffin.  One of my very first card making sets I bought.  Umm....years ago. I traced the leaves with Surka??? gel pens.  Love those pens.  Works every time. Pink ribbon and glitter around sentiment.  Sentiment cutout from Cricut cart.

This challenge I actually meant to post.  The next day at work I realize I missed the deadline.  Would've have been my first actual challenge.  I'll have to wait till next time.  This would have been a two for one.  I made this card for a co-worker who just had her very first grandchild.  As you can see it was a girl!  The challenge for this was to use stitching somewhere in the card.  The Oneise idea came from someone on the Cricut board that made a Oneise with a tutu on it. (Sorry I don't remember who it was to give credit to.)   I also used a Peachy Keen stamp for this challenge. The oneise is from New Arrival.  The scallop cut out is Spellbinders. I chalked the sentiment.  I don't think it showed up very well in the picture.  My co-worker just loved the card.  Thanks for looking.  Please don't forget to leave a comment if you enjoyed my challenge cards.

Wedding Ring Wedding Card

This is a wedding card I created for a craft show I'm doing.  I used a standard 5x7 pre-scored card.  I choose the light blue card because it was my parents wedding colors.  I used the Wedding cart and gypsy to get the rings in the middle and full size of the card.  I wove white ribbon through the rings. Stickles for the diamond accents. Dove with Martha Stewart glitter. I don't remember the what cart the dove came from.  Thanks for looking. This is my very first post on my new blog.  Please feel free to leave comments and follow for more projects and cards to come.
